My Story
I graduated as ‘Computer & Cyber Crime Professional’ in 2016 at Howest.
As a student, I started my freelance career as response on many requests I received to help people with their IT challenges and combine this with the student work I was already doing on festivals and other big events.
During the last year of my studies I finished my internship at the Federal Computer Crime Unit with the Belgian Federal Police. After this, I started my professional life at In The Pocket as System Engineer, over the time I changed to Security and Privacy Officer and since 2013 I became the IT Lead at ITP, taking responsibility over the internal IT team covering infrastructure, InfoSec, Privacy, Asset Management, …
Aside of my work, over the years I worked on a lot of events mostly in Mobility, but also at the bar, entrance, build/break, as a host, production support, …
And of course I like to play with technology, install networks and wifi, configure new tools and automate a lot of things.
In the weekend you can find me on a basketball court, after years of playing, Im now active as a referee at Basketbal.Vlaanderen and involved with the planning of referees on Flemish level.
